We would really appreciate it if you would schedule your visit to the farm, rather than just dropping in. It is our family home, we are not always at the barn, and we'd hate to miss your visit!

Please note: If you are planning a visit to Winter Wood Farm, be aware of GPS directions! If your GPS directs you to take “Independence Road” you will need to select an alternate route from Sparta to the farm. Independence Rd is an old road though a mountain. But it’s still a NCDOT maintained road, so it will show up on GPS systems as the “shortest” route.
You will want to follow US HWY21 N through Sparta, and then turn on to US Hwy 221 N toward Virginia. Click here for directions to the farm.
